So far, the gun has no reported issues. The gun is externally very durable, internally...only time will tell. Performance...it performs like a stock TM gun, slightly better. I own one, my brother owns one and a couple of my friends own one, so far...the gun is very good, but only time will tell. Worried? Then hold-up on the purchase, let time go by so those who do own it can properly field test it with time. I don't know what else to say, the gun is great...no problems.

Lets try and avoid any flame wars with TMvCA. Stick to facts, not opinions...and keep it simple (I'll try to do the same).

This gun is farily new, so you may want to wait on it before buying it if you are worried about internals

I would wait about 2 or 3 more months. And if you even think about getting it from Armalite I'll have to stab you in the throat. Get it from an overseas dealer. $310 compared to $495. I think you'll make the right decision.

Well I fired approximently 5k shots through my m15a4 carbine, and everything shot was flawless. It has fairly good range and accuracy, considering it shoots around 300fps. I am very happy with it right now. However I have only played 2 full games with it, so it is still too soon to tell. BTW, Combat Depot sells the m15a4 carbine for 300 dollars, but I got mine from UNcompany for $250 plus s&h ($55). I just didn't want to wait for Combat depot (it's on special order), I got mine in 3 days after payment.

Try this out, just posted extensively about my thoughts on it:

In my opinion, the CA M15 series is a good gun for the money, however, I believe it was over-hyped by some of the people who got them. I think that most of those who got the M15 series and spread the many excellent things were half right--only perhaps however it was their first AEG or they have never held a gun with Systema or other quality parts on it.

So in short, don't expect Systema quality when you are paying a dirt cheap price. So far the guns have performed about to what everyone said they would, only issue so far is CA's lax QC...

For record, the CA M15-A4 is not my first AEG. I've owned TM MP5 series and CA M16 series before getting the CA M15. My CA M16-A3 had mostly Systema and Guarder parts (including a ProGear). And really, I don't see a difference between them and what is inside my CA M15-A4. And I've used numerous TM AEGS, including TM M16-A2 @ 450fps.

I just came back today from another full-day skrimish with my M15-A4, and it still works great (not a single jam/misfeed).

And really, CA is not dirt-cheap...TM guns (IN MY OPINION) are over-priced for their value.

I have no intention of writing any reviews on the CA M15-A4 until I skrimish with it atleast to a point where I feel it has sufficently proven itself...or drastically failed.

Eh, dirt cheap in comparison to the TMs with similar (or remotely similar) upgrades, similar to comparing to AE to TM Mp5s, however I regard AE with more respect than CA at the moment.

Anyways, cracked open the mechbox, everything seems to be in order.

As I said, mostly small external things were just skeptical.

(And everything in the world is over priced if you ask me =), however I think TM guns are priced pretty well IF you live in Japan/HK, paying 200 for an AEG really doesn't seem that bad considering what it is a replacement for.

For the battery would i still need to remove the fusbox for the battery to operate?

Well Kids if you have not gotten your Armalite M15 yet..you may be out of luck. My sources within WGC and Armalite both confirmed that CA has stopped general production of the M15. CA sent their remaining stock to Armalite for sole distribution. Apparently that is how it was supposed to be from the word "go". But CA decided to send them to their overseas distributors as well. This ticked off Armalite and they threatened legal action.

So as of right now CA has started production of their own M4/M16 line again. It will probably have their standard CA logo in laser script and be identical to the M15. Just without the trades.

Where'd you hear about that? Can you confirm it?

I guess that means the M15s are a collectable item now...the only metal body with Armalite Trademarks and series number.

You can still get the Armalite M15 series...but you have to buy it through Armalite. If some overseas dealers still have them, I would buy them up in a hurry and sell them on e-bay.

Personally, I think CA finally got their act together when it came to the Armalite edition. Let's just hope the Quality Control improves on their next edition AEG.

Looks like pretty much all oversea retailers are 'out of stock' on the M15s, except WGC has a few Tac. Carbines...but who wants those. :D
