View Full Version : Classy HK pics in Movies/TV
I was flipping through trailers when I came across this gem. Jamie Foxx with a G3 - awesome. To be honest, the G3 is a rather popular rifle in the middle east. There is a licensed HK factory that produces them (I believe it is in Iran or Syria). Kuwait had issued the G3A4 to its military forces and many are still in circulation all over the region.
Yeah, big deal...on with the pic.
OK, so if the "Powers That Ban" will allow the meager existance of this thread containing much awesomeness, please post your pics of Hk-Awesomeness... for the children.
RADAR III

Jaime Foxx has great trigger finger control..... as all of Hollywood does.
Still a cool picture though, go G3!
Being a H and K whore myself, to date one of my favorties for H and K action is DEFINATLY Miami Vice. Not to shabby of a movie, but alot of good H and K scenes, to many pics to post...
MP7's, MP5's, G36C's, HK 69A1, G3SG1... the list just goes on and on.
The Kingdom was produced by Micheal Mann, and his movies are always realistic to a point, and usually H and K filled. A big part of it is proably because they always seem to use the one retired SAS lad for a advisor / trainer for the cast in almost every film.

Battlestar Galactica, Starbuck uses a G36K in a couple episodes.
http://www.pfo-studios.com/img/t_4.jpg
I believe they also use MP7's in a few episodes. Also the bad guys in Assault on Precinct 13 used G36's
Also everyones favorite movie used G36's as the core of their guns before they made them all stupid with unrealistic/unusable shells.

Everyone loves Doom. The first time I saw it, it immeadiately became the Guys-night-in favorite, alongside Shaun of the Dead.
I can't seem to find a picture, but if anyone has seen Munich, the German Sniper at the Air Port seems to have a PSG1 or a G3 SG1 of some sort.
http://www.motionpicturearmourer.com/psg.jpg
I believe that's from one of the Snipers with Tom Berenger. But in one of them his partner uses a PSG1.

I read a bit from this site a long time ago and still had it in my favorites, it says Billy Zane (Berenger's partner in the original Sniper) wasn't using a PSG1:

About half way down, in the paragraph with the red type is where it mentions the discrepancy. I haven't had the drive to actually figure out what he WAS using, though.

I just don't want to let this one die, apparently. So here's some MP5 action.
+2 points for a pic of Sam Jackson with Hk. They compliment each other well.
-1 for pics from Matrix Reloaded...
+1 because Bond is cool

I'm actually not a big Matrix fan, but I thought the twins using the UMP during the car chase was awesome. I set out to find a picture of that, but Larry Fishburne was the best I could do.
Now I have a Machine Gun....ho..ho....ho

In I am legend, Robert Neville uses a USP with Tan frame to kill two or three infected dogs.
Still looking for a shot.

Also in I Am Legend, I think I spotted a G3 in his gun "closet".
FYI, I loved that movie. Especially when Sam runs into that dark building.....spooky in Imax.

I did a ton of searching, and I distinctly remember seeing a G36C in a scene in the movie, "Four Brothers". I couldn't find a picture though.
Also, I know it's a tiny picture, but it's all I can find after a half an hour of searching:

Not from a movie or TV, but classy none-the-less. This is the HK45 family, the natural evolution of the USP:

Yea, I remember that. When the "bad guys" attack the brothers when they are at home. I think all of them had G36C's.

It's like the Bastard Child of FN5.7 and USP.45.
Also, I can not believe that no one has mentioned **** Marcinko!
Here is his upcoming video game:

And here is the cover of one of his books:

Marcinko is a proponent of HK weaponry. He always has a Mp5 and his squad-mates have Hk33, or Hk53.
