airsoft contraversy

r there ant airsofters that are not of the caucasian race (no offense) but i have seen very few and i want to know if im alone out here in the airsoft ohio world. please post or pm me. this is not a racial attack so please dont take it that way.

Airsoft is a sport that ALL people of ALL races can play. Depending on a players location or the events he/she attends, that may limit their viewing of players of different races. I have team mates that come from varied backgrounds. While you may not have met players that are the same race as you, that doesnt mean they are not out there.

I've seen a good number of African American, Asian, Female, Airsofters. Of course the majority is Caucasian. But Miyagi, Mr. Kong and Kurt (Before he left, ugh I miss him) are all Asian. Then I believe there is one African American Striker, Kurt's Buddy Mike (if he still plays) Stewb of course is too. Those are the only 3 ones I can think of right now.

Why is this a controversy? If people other than the Caucasian race don't play, it's their decision - we're not forcing them to stay out, or come in. We aren't racist skin heads - We're a very accepting and nice community. We don't push them out or anything.

The reason you don't see many females is because this is more likely to catch the interest of males. It's like a war movie versus a sentimental movie. Most males would like to see a war movie - most females would like to see the more sentimental movie. Sometimes its vice-versa, just not often. That's why there's only a hand-full of female players.

Interests differ between people...so it's all about the person.

Everything has to be a controversy these days. Hop on the drama-llama!

Why is this thread even here? Isn't there a basic requirement that threads be coherent with an attempt made to spell complete words, rather than this Aim-speak garbage? Skip the Hall of Infamy, outright deletion is highly recommended.
If you even have to ask this question, you don't belong in airsoft. Race is not an issue here, nor has it ever been or should it ever be. If you are worried about ethnic diversity shattering your ethnic identity, then you need to grow up.
If you can't even bother to properly format a question and spell, your post doesn't belong on the forums. Honestly, this smacks of immaturity on your part. People are trying to understand what is being posted here as english may not be their first language. Others have a hard enough time to follow poorly worded or heavily abbreviated "AIMspeak" trash. Grow up.

Race and sex are the least of your concerns on the field as airsofters do not fit into any one easily defined type for age, sex, race, political affiliation, or profession. Equally, airsofters come in every size, shape, and color, are participating in event on every corner of the globe, and have a multiude of experiences ranging from summer lawnmowing to realwolrd military operators.

The only thing airsofters have in common is they are looking for an experience in airsoft and seem to be, respectful, honorable people on the field who usually would not hesitate to help you on the field.

On the field, we are all green and brown and tan with black guns shooting white BBs. And at the end of the day, we all want to hang around and swap stories about the day while enjoying a cold drink. When we get hurt, we all bleed red.

So when you ask about what color the majority of airsofters are or what race they belong to, I think I can speak for most US airsofters in telling you to shut your hole. The color of our skin changes and with the application of a nomex hood or facepaint. And the color of skin doesn't matter when you see the trail of BBS coming towards you.

Sorry if you intention was scholarly pursuit of knowledge, but when you format what I assume is a paragraph in this fashion, its difficult to take it seriously.
