I hope that those of you that are fans of Stargate SG-1 were able to catch the final episode. The series lasted for ten seasons and it has, to the chagrin of many, come to an end. I know that I will certainly miss getting my weekly dose of Stargate every Friday night. It was a great run and it shall be missed.

Sad to see it end, happy that it didn't end with a Journey song.

The last year was not exactly one of their best, but I did enjoy the episode where the spoofed all of the other Sci Fi shows. They still have Stargate:Voyage...I mean Atlantis... :)

Still, it was one of the better series on Sci Fi channel...well, until they started running Star Trek Enterprise, IMO. I really only watch TV on Mondays, anyway. The rest of the week is a struggle between What not to wear, Scrubs, House, and The teeny bop crap on Disney.

Makes me glad I have a guitar and a quiet room to practice in.

Well I know the movie is supposed to be aired sometime soon, August I think.
Side note for those that follow Sci-fi Channel:
The reason that it took so long for the end of SG-1 to come out here was because they wanted to release the movie with relative proximity of the end of the series. Which is why there was only a 4-6 week mid season break given to BSG (Battlestar) and they where 'forced' to make their season faster than they wanted. This is why I believe that it was more character development in season 3.5 of BSG. But they finished filming the Stargate series by like late feb, early March so they aired all those episodes in Britain while BSG filled up the line up during that time. This was the 'word' a few months ago. I've been out of the Loop for a little over a month so I could be wrong.

Now if they could just come up with a show with Amanda Tapping and Stacy London both in it.........What Not to Wear Off World? Stargate: The Shoe Shopping Chronicles?
