The Sopranos: The Final Episode

I am sad to say that Tonite (sunday June 10th) at 9pm on HBO is the final episode ever of "The Sopranos". I just wanted you all to know that tonite is the final night and open up a thread for discussion before and after the episode air's. I feel like with the end of this episode comes the end of an era, i may sound a little to passionate about this show but something about it just reminds me of a better time in television (the 90's) when reality shows didnt rule the channels. Also, I doubt there will ever be another show or saga like this.

Possible thoughts on if Tony will die or not?

Just take a look at the ending of 6 Feet Under (another HBO show). A show about death. Sopranoes is about gangs, drugs, death, ect. But in a way it is about family.
Prediction #1: Tony gets killed and the ending scene is the family at dinner with no Tony
Prediction #2: The dad dies, and has an ending scene of the family at dinner

I'm no avid fan of the Sopranoes, but that's my rough idea

Im an avid fan of the serries and right now my prediction is that Tony is killed. I see that as the only way to truly end the show.

However, I did read somewhere that there were three endings produced. And if one of them was to leak, then they would switch it. So really it can go any way.

Well, i will say, hats off to the creator. For 6 years i've watched that show and had a great time with it. Its sad to see it go. I just cant wait to finish off my box set collection.

Okay I just finished watching it on DVR (i had to go to a party and they watched the cavs i was pissed) So everything up to the end was pretty good, the usual awesomeness of the sopranos. Than I got to the end. Did anyone else just say "What The F%#k." When it was over and the screen went black. I thought my dvr was broken and i was about to smash the crap out of it until the credits started coming up. I than repeated the term like a million times.

So if anyone else said the same thing that i said at the end please post and say that you did because wow.

Also, what do you think would've happened if they cept rolling or predict an alternate ending. It was weird though I feel like they ended it in a way that leaves it open to being started back up. How cool would it be if they did another season, i'd start going to temple or something. (haha)


All in all i dont want to say that the final episode sucked, I want to say that it was cleverly thought out and mightve dissapointed a lot of people but I think i would've been very sad in a way if they had killed tony right then and there.
