I'm fairly certain you can get a FAMAS and buy a SA80/L85 (same thing) conversion kit for it. Other than that I don't think they make one. Except for a springer version.

Currently there are 3 L85's available that I know of....a gas version that I'm not sure of the manufacturer, a spring version, and an AEG.
The AEG is made by Acedemy and is not of very good quality. But if you really want an AEG L85 you can get the Acedemy and convert the inards to TM parts. :)
Hope that helps ya!

if you get the spring version from HFC/UHC (not sure which) you will see on the box, a depiction of the gas nozzle. I have seen them on Jungletoy- not sure whether or not they are a "jungletoy exclusive," or are actually made by UHC/HFC.

Check out MFI. They have a reworked version but it's still not to hot.

Wonder why there isn't a market for a TM AEG version? I'd like to see the Sa80, and a few others, like the Galil become quality electric guns, I wouldn't even want one, it would just make everything a little more complete-open up two other rifle types onto the skirmish field (and add another bullpup to that corner...though I'm personally not a fan of the looks)

The thing is, I doubt there is much desire for an Enfield over in japan or asian area.

As cited before, TM goes for what is wanted and desired over there, not in the US or even Europe. So an english used and made weapon that really hasnt seen much action in asian areas, is hard to get a company that has better guns to develop and design's money towards.

but one day, possibly, it could happen.

There is a Galil. Though it is only a gas powered one and it a limited magazine. Plus it is discountinued so it would be expensive if you found one.

Army, the same could be said about M16's and other Colt AR's. But some foreign people **** a brick when they see american SF units...

(same can be said about others im sure :-p)

well that is mostly true- but as army said, they make what is desired by the good citizens "over there"- and the colt/armalite family is NOT restricted to US and Canadian use. they see action in the Philipines, and have in the past 40+ years been used extensively in some famous 60's era southeast asian conflicts...

Yes-I know there is a gas Galil-hence why I said I'd like to see an AEG version.

The Colts have quite a desire over there simply because, they are like HK with guns. Its almost reasonable to say that currently, HK and Colt are probably the biggest rivals in guns for their class. Maybe MAKE or CONSTRUCTION sucks on an m-16, I once had a marine tell me in training they dropped an Mp5 from a building, and an M-16. The M-16 broke into about a hundred pieces, and the mp5 just bent its barrel, they took a hammer to it, and bent it back, and it fired fine.

Over there, they have a HUGE uplooking eye towards SF units from the US. That is why they have colts as such a big seller. If you look at TM's catalog, they model after American SF units, not the GSG9, or SAS, but a true SWAT team or Special Forces from America. Theres not much to look up to Japan or China that is known too well. Afterall, when McDonalds has domination there, as it has here, you know they are going to be going American anyway. :)
