OK, the Hardballer is relatively cheap and it looks alright, so I purchased it from ShortyUSA.

As always, ShortyUSA was right on time. I opened the box and there was my shipping qoute along with the gun.

First Impressions:

After I held the gun and had a few minutes to look at it, I noticed how cheesy it really did look. The pictures and the advertising on all of the webpages made it look glamorous, where right here, right now it was a cheaply built peice of plastic with three shiny metal objects to make it appeal to the eye.

Firing:

Beneathe the barrel, housed in the pump is the magazine. It's lt's about the length of the barrel and it holds about 20 to 40 BB's.

Well, bored and dissapointed with looks, I decided to give it a try. I filled the magazine and started to fire it. I thought, " Hey, not bad! " after firing a few rounds in my backyard at various things. The gun shoots in the 140-160 fps range and the BB dies out at about 20-30 ft.

The Low-Down:

The gun is seriously not worth the $60 shipped that I payed, ( Overnight and Second day air is he only shipping method to HI and AK ) but it is a price you pay for an actual functioning airsoft gun. ( I bought it 4 months ago, and is still working great. )
Upon purchasing this gun, I was tricked by Airsoft Atlanta and their what appears to be "phony" review written by them to boost sales. The gun is not half of what retailers brag of it to be, but then again I bought it to be a sort of prop, "look-at" sort of weapon. The gun is light, and it *will* break easily if abused even in minor detail.

I have encountered one problem imparticular. The gun would frequently jam and when cocked and engaged, make a muffled noise of air, and no projectile would come out. When this happens, it needs to be opened up. The gun is cheaply built, but I have to say it has some legitemate range, and the magazine capacity is a defenite upper. I would recomend this gun to those who have Springer and Mini battles, as it is not too powerful for the genre, but it does have some decent range.

Hopefully to be continued by the views of other owners of the Hard-Baller series.

Well, my brother got the hardballer and he is very satisfied with it. I guess you got a lemon because it is a really cool gun. I don't think it will break unless you're being stupid with it. My brother's has never jammed and is very reliable. One time he dropped it in the sand and it was all dirty(he dropped it various other times too), but it is excatly like it was when he got it. To bad for you, if you don't like it, but it's a great gun.

I don't hate the gun at all! It has been used for a bunch of skirmishes, and I loan it out ot those who want to play with us and don't have a gun. A definate upper is that the gun can be engaged very easily. Pumping is almost fun as you can do it simultaneously with ease.

The review was just what I thought of the gun. It is cheaply built, however does it's purpose and is a little more than what I expected in a cheap shotgun after going through various type of Korean made knock off shotguns.

Again, this review is only partial and skims along some things *I* came into account with.

Again, I don't hate the gun and was just posting from my point of view of what I thought of it.

When I first looked for reviews I just found a bunch of people interested in it, and like always on forms someone explained how crappy and junk the gun was, and at the same time someone posted how fun it was and how much they liked it.

I can only give this in my particular point of view, and not reccomend buying or not buying the gun. Hopefully, this thread will get accounts from various different people and their thoughts on this gun. I intended for this thread to be an informational database where someone curious can view commentary posted by owners.

yea that gun seems to get great reviews, and to tell u the truth there is no point for it to fire long ranges. i think its suposed to be a run at the guy rambo style, and pop the guy with 10 rounds in 2 seconds
actually i want to get it as secondary weapons cuz im gonna get the super9, and it is suposed to be really slow fire..

Pretty good choice, Super 9 for long ranges, and the harballer at your side for closerange.

Nice.

One thing I enjoy inparticlar about this gun, is how fast you can squeeze rounds off. It doesn't take much manpower to compress this spring and you can pop rounds off at a hefty pace!
