So, I got an Ipod as a graduation present, along with an iHome. So, Im looking for good songs that I can use for when Im rocking out getting ready to unleash unfathomable fury at an AO event.

Im into Rock, Metal, Classical, contemporary static Jazz and stuff along that nature, like Godsmack, Breaking Benjamin, Hatebreed, Celldweller, Warsaw Philharmonic, the 3 kings of classical concert, and all that stuff...you know, stuff youd listen to before a game to get you pumped.

Thanks for comments guys, in advance!

You need some good House and Progressive Trance to get pumped up, not to mention some good rock like Clutch, or maybe some Type O Negative if you wanna go out on the field a little angry.

Good to hear someone else likes Clutch. Mice and Gods is a good song.

I like 96 Quite bitter beings by CKY and Supernaut by Black Sabbath.

I think the best pump you up song to play just before clearing a building or something would be Rammstein's Feuer Frei (Which conveniently translates to 'Fire Fight').

Some songs in paticular I find pump me up:

Children of Bodom - Downfall, Mask of Sanity, Needled 24-7,
Stabbing Westward - Save Yourself
Three Days Grace - Animal I have become, Pain
Pitchshifter - Eight Days
Celldweller - Frozen, I Believe You, Switchback, Own Little World
Jimmy Eat World - Pain
Avenged Sevenfold - And All Things Will End
Cradle of Filth - Nemesis
Eisbrecher - Eisbrecher, Wilkommen Im Nichts, Zeichen Der Venus
Megaherz - Herzblut, Hurra Wir Leben Noch, Spiel Nicht, Direkt Ins Blut, Misstuck
Norther - Dream
The Prodigy - Diesel Power
My Chemical Romance - Hang 'em High, Give 'em Hell Kid, To The End
HIM - Beyond the Crimson Door, Buried Alive by Love.
KMFDM - Every Day's a Good Day, Free Your Hate, Hau Ruck, Feed our Fame, Professional Killer (God Hau Ruck is such a badass album).

It basically depends on what you are going for. Music can spawn so many different moods and temperments with me. Heavy or speed metal will get me wanting to move fast and just shoot the living hell out of anything that moves, which can be good or bad. Some more mellow, not-so-heavy industrial gives me the same urge to be a badass but without the "OMG DIEDIEDIEDIE BRAAAAGGHHHH" touch. Then you have your stealth mood music, which I use some goth techno or the like for.

Disposable Soldier

Wow...No Marilyn Manson? Thats what I love to use as my pump up tool...Try Some of these:

-This is the New S***
-Use Your Fist and Not Your Mouth
-Better of Two Evils
-Cake and Sodomy
-Lunchbox
-Dried up, Tied, and Dead to the World
-Scabs, Guns, and Peanut Butter
Those aren't all the songs I use, but just a few by manson that I listen to in the car ride to an event and while gearing up.

There is always pretty much anything from The Crystal Method. Now if only I could find a way to listen to music and play while still being able to hear the world around me.

Apok

Though I like the classic rock, I grew up listening to it afterall, but to get truely pumped I need something harder. But AC/DC works as well.

let's see, i usually listen to:

-as i lay dying (the older stuff where it was metal and not screemo)
-atreyu (standard issue meta;/screemo)
-Bandits of the acoustic revolution (this is symphony music, played fast, and with really amazing lyrics... myspace them)
-blue man group (good rhythm to get you going)
-drowning pool
-fear factory (one of the fastest bass-drums I've ever heard...sry, i'm a drummer)
-finch
-Killswitch Engage (one of the best metal guitarists i've ever heard. don't flame for this)
-Korn (i'm partial to an amazing bassist... listen to their old stuff, their new stuff sucks compared to it)
-linkin park
-mudvayne
-not now right now (check them out on myspace it's what Rage Against The Machine would sound like if they played reggae)
-pennywise (standard issue punk rock)
-powerman 5000 (tonight the stars revolt is their best album)
-rage against the machine (amazing band, they use almost zero studio editing, they sound the same live as on their cds)
-reel big fish (thought i'd suggest some good ska music)
-Rise Against (punk rock, bit of screaming, much better than pennywise)
-Slipknot
-system of a down (toxicity, and their self titled one are the best)
-streetlight manifesto (more good ska)
-Thursday(one of my favorite bands... i'd suggest the song Jet Black New Year off of the albm "Five stories Falling", or At This Velocity from "A city by the light divided)

hope you enjoy (download killswitch engage... my favorite metal band EVER)

I think the best pump you up song to play just before clearing a building or something would be Rammstein's Feuer Frei (Which conveniently translates to 'Fire Fight').

It actaully loosely translates to fire at will.

Rammstein's album's Sehnsucht and Mutter would be on my playlist. Along with Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden, Nirvana, and Smashing Pumpkins.
