metal slide, hurricane high flow kit, with metal recoil guide
after a few rounds of top gas cycling through, the slide locks, a quick inspection of the recoil guide from above shows that it is pointed downwards. This is the cause of the lock and when the slide is pulled back and slid forward, and the recoil guide returns to normal, all is good.
I've seen "plastic" spacers at the end of the recoil guide inbetween the end of the recoil guide, and the metal slide itself (at the front of the gun). My 18c is spacer-less, heh, and i beleive this is causing the problem, but not sure, any input would be GREATLY appreaciated.
Another problem i have is if the slide is kicked back hard (either quickly by hand or by top gas ;), softly by hand doesnt do this) AND the slide stays back, as if the mag is empty, the trigger will be allowed to be "pulled" so i could "shoot" it again as if it were in semi. Except when i pull the trigger it feels as if it moves something in the slide and if the slide is released, the gun wont shoot again untill manually recocked, im lost on this one. Again, any help would be great guys, thanks!
