Which one should I buy based on your opinion? I plan on buying a gun based on power and reliability. Also if you own the gun write a little review.

I would take the M9 military simply because I wear a military outfit. The TacMaster seems to fit better the law enforcement outfits, such as swat teams or other. That is my opinion, but they are basically the same so just get whichever you like better. Of course the tacMaster is more comfortable.

I've heard that the hogue grips on the TacMaster are not really rubber, but plastic rather. Is this true?

The TM Tactical Master M9 and the standard TM M9 are the same gun. The Tactical Master M9 is the cosmetically enhanced version of the standard M9. The main differences are: finger position grips, modified slide, different sights, and a different hammer. Other than these cosmetic changes the Tactical Master and the standard M9 are exactly the same. The frame of the Tactical Master is actually the same frame as the standard M9

Check out my review on the new Team Two airsoft review site.

Just FYI, I just put a set of Hogue Monogrip finger positions grips on my Tactical Master. The Hogue grips installed easily with no modifications required. Just take the old ones off and put on the new ones. The Hogue grips look just like the grips that come on the Tactical Master. The reason I changed the grips is because the OEM grips are hard plastic, where the Hogue grips are rubber. The Hogue grips give me more control and comfort. If you want the Tactical Master grips, but are really stuck on the standard M9, just surf the net or go to a local gun store an buy a set of Hogue Monogrip finger position grips. I did not shop around at all and paid $17.

Like I said, check out my reivew on the Team Two website. It is pretty extensive and covers the Tactical Master, but like I said above, the two guns are the same with only cosmetic differences.
