I know that it's possible to give a UHC or TM Beretta a working slide lock, but what I would like to know is if anyone has had any success with doing the same modification to any of their other guns, specifically the MK23. It's a great gun, but I feel that the addition of a functional slide lock would make it that much better.

you'd have to cut a new notch in the slide. the current slide lock lever can still be used as a safety if you do things right

I never figured out the safety on my MK23... is there one?

the slide lock lever acts as a safety. pop it up (locked slide position). when you hear a loud click, its safetied.

it doesnt move easily, but it will keep the gun from going off when you divert attention and a kid grabs your gun
