I decided to put this in equipment and gear, and although the subject mentions a retailer, it does actually belong here.
Has anyone bought any of the custom gear from Gray Wolf Trading Co? They sell M43 style hats (the german ranger cap equivalent) in various different camoflauges that were never actually issued. I recently acquired a set of flectarn, jacket, pants, and M43 cap, from buddy of mine that I met in person the other day (Agent, I really like this stuff, thanks a lot, if theres any other gear you need from me...) and I'm really taken with the design of M43 hats in particular. I was thinking about buying a Jungle Stalker or Mountain Stalker digital M43 cap, and I was curious as to how it is, cause once I've got to wear a real, issue M43, the custom gray wolf hats look more like the plain US BDU ranger style cap, a round box with a long bill.
-Instead of a cylinder box with a high end and short, angled bill.
If anyone has owned one of these custom M43s, I'd like to know how they compare to an issue german army one.
