There is no best gun because it depends entirely on your unique perspective.
Which gun do you like?
Which gun fits your body, hand, arms, etc.
Which gun fits your budget?
Which gun fits you individual play style?
Which gun fits your individual taste?

All of these questions can be answered by you by simply sitting down and deciding what it is you want, what you want to do with it, and how much money you are willing to spend. There is no ultimate best gun out there, but merely one that resembles that which you think is the best. The steps from there are taken to make the gun fit your specific purpose or taste through upgrade and modification.

All of this is best answered by you. Your first step on this journey is to read the Newbie FAQ and do some research on the various hobbyist sites, worldwide (visit the Link Section). Next you will want to search the retail sites (also available at the Link Section) and possibly Auction sites (Ebay, AO Auctions, etc.) Finally, you must choose for yourself.
