Yes, this thread is entirely about me. Since somebody took the liberty of taking offense to the "10 signs you might be a noob", I figured I'd put this up, just to prove that it was all in good fun.

5. You get angry rants via PM monthly from someone that you piss off.
4. You spend more on airsoft crap than your first car cost.
3. You once sold off most of your RS collection to fund the growing airsoft collection, which you then sold off to buy one expensive airsoft gun, and more RS.
2. My three hobbies: Airsoft, video games, and women (annnnddd failing miserably most of the time).

First of all, Loki isn't a guy who hates newbies. It is his primary responsibility to moderate the forums and keep them clean of useless or misleading information or pointless posts and threads. The rules are in place and he and other moderators simply police the threads following the guidelines of the rules. Loki isn't "out to get you". That would be the boogieman.

The reason Loki posted this thread is to show he can poke fun at himself regardless of contantly being bombarded with hate-mail from newbies who feel they've been wrong. He's been threatened with bodily harm for policing posts as well. He has little tolerance for people who don't take the time to properly learn about airsoft and also their own grammar. His disdain for pointless threads and posts is not his alone, but is shared by many.

If I were you, I'd give him a break. By looking at your user rep, you've obviously had other people than Loki disagree with you. Moderators don't have God Mode when it comes to issuing forum reputation. They have to spread rep around just like everyone else, so they're not immune to the potential of abuse if you thought they are.

To ANYONE reading the following: The best thing I can tell you is that YOU are the sole person responsible for your reputation. If you act like a tool all the time, put other people down, make pointless or useless posts, or do anything else that would make people disagree with your threads and give you negative rep, it's not THEM, it's YOU. It's time to learn from what you did wrong, and work to improve your own standing. If you can't take responsibility for your own actions, then it's going to be a very long road for you.
