Yeah, I'm looking to make a custom shotgun. Something along the lines of a double barrel shotgun that could use Tokyo Marui shotshells. --ala Army Of Darkness Boomstick
However, I know very little about the internals of springers, nor do I know where to find the information... if you know of a link to such information, it would be greatly appreciated.
Any Information/Criticim is welcome.

You couldn't use TM shot shells because they function like a magazine in TM shotguns. They don't sctually go in the barrel breech like a real shot shell, they just feed to it, like a mag. You would have to eithermake custom shells or use a gas shotgun system.
And since this topic is so similar to your other topic  , I will let youknow they do make a double-barreled gas shotgun like the one see in the "Mad Max" movie, I believe it comes in both a sawed off size and a full size.

D_Man...ha you beat me to it! :p
I was going to suggest the Mad Max as that is the ONLY double barrel shotgun I've heard of. Also to my knowledge there was never a full sized version made, only the sawed off. It's made by Hudson and is rather hard to get ahold of. But it seem that it would be your best bet to get one of these and (if a fullsize is not available) extend the barrels somehow and remove the pistol grip and replace i with a regular stock.
Again to my knowledge there is not a full size....if someone were to find a fullsize I would like to know about it!! :D

I don't know of any sites for sure, but have you checked airsoftplayers or airsoftretreat for any info on them?
From what I have read and heard they aren't the greatest shotguns by any means. Afterall they are made by Hudson who does not have a great record for quality replicas, however this the ONLY double barrel shotgun out that I know of. Since I don't know all of it's downfalls I really can't tell you what it can or can't do. I myself have been wanting a Mad Max shotgun for some time and I may actually be in the market to get one soon.
I've been curious as to the problems and how fixable they are.
Keep looking and good luck!
I'm not sure what sites you've found it on, but remember just because it's listed doesn't mean they actually have it in stock ready to sell! ;)

If i was going to make one of these custom shotguns, i would make them out of hardball 2 shotguns. Those little guns are fairly simple, and are slim, so u can put em side by side, and you do not have to use the TM shells which could be very hard to use. I believe the hardball has a larger clip capacity as well.

220 fps is about the highest velocity you'll ever reach with this idiot device. You will ONLY have two shells for it too, seeing as to where Hudson doesn't sell the shells individually. It's better at hammering nails than it is taking into a skirmish. It's mostly a collector's piece anyways.. if the ****ty detail of the gun isn't the major complaint about these guns, it's the malfunctions and breakage.
Shells look ridiculous (which are literally about half as long as the shotgun barrels) and the gun looks even worse at a closer-glance.
The amount of cash thrown away into purchasing these guns for anything more than collector's pieces can best be spent on something much better.

thanks for the heads up clayden... i'll steer clear of that one...
but the thought of a gas double barrel shotgun is appealing... anyone know what kind of skill it would take to make a gas shotgun?

Cookie guy!
You can buy the Hudson Mad Max sawn-off at Airsoft Dynamics for around £120 if you want it. Im considering getting one myself, only so I can start calling everyone at AWA 'primitive screwheads' with reason!
If you were to buy one, you can just play around with it inside and see if you can get some kind of rise in power or something. Thats what im gonna do.

The alternative no one really knew existed until it suddenly appeared on E-bay. :D
Light as hell and comletely made up of plastic, not to mention the manufacturer went overboard on the barrel blaze. From what I've read, it fires two at once, you manually load bbs back in each time and it a spring gun (meaning it has to be cocked by pulling the barrels down). Very interesting.. I'm sure it fires just short of "diddly ****" but it like a nice piece of equipment considering the 10 dollar price tag.

Isn't that a GAS powered shottie. this is a spring fourm. oh well. a double barrelled gun would be awsome. not strong, but awsome and bad-***. only if you could work on the shells droping out. meaning
BOOM
or BOOM click BOOM
then they slide out. the shells aren't cheap you know. I'd reccomend it for a CQB situation in a building.

yeah, if i was an admin, i would have moved it to the gas topic, alas, i am not an administrator, so i couldn't move the thread...
as to the shells, if it's a double-barrel, single shot, when you open the breach, just pocket the spent shells.

"It's a funny gun to have, just don't get careless when you're goofing off with it. You may not be able to hit anything after fifteen feet, but a shot from this thing at too close and're going to make someone incredibly unhappy. I don't know where they got these two springs from, but sticking them inside this shotgun doesn't seem fair. "
ROFL!
Agent: im so getting the ****
Agent: and chopping all that orange **** off of there

Hmm....i was thinking....hehehe. You could basicly have 2 gas grenades and 2 tubes with a trigger mechanism. It would look WAY out of scale and big, but it would be hella intimidating. Just take a normal rifle stock, and 2 pvc pipes, and your golden. :D Good luck.

Heheh, he just got one line of me laughing, saying "hahahah"
I'd just like to see some good, quality gas shotguns with ejecting shells, one barrel is fine-ones capable of getting enough fps and range outdoors.
I want gas Benellis and SPAS 12's myself...

Id actually like to see a re-designed Maruzen m1100 able to use green gas, and with updated internals/better valve system. That is my all time favorite weapon.
