I have been looking to get into airsoft, but I am on a budget. I found the line of Echo 1 guns, but I can only find them on Airsoft GI. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the Echo m4, or could direct me to a helpful review or something of the sort. Thanks.

p.s. Im sorry if this sounds like an "is this gun good" thread but I couldn't seem to find much information on it

Well, Echo1 guns are just rebranded JG's, so expect stock JG quality. (Which is pretty darned good)

i've heard that the gears are CA. Has anyone else heard that?

They use CA steel gears and JG is coming out with a second run w/ m120s installed. heck your shimms though, I have heard some guns come with no shims what so ever

I'm getting an Echo 1 M4a1 / something like that after I spend all my cash over Vday. I'll get a review together for both the Echo 1 gun and the UTG MK23 Socom I'll probably buy.

i just registered after having a good laugh at the well r6 guy in the infamous thread topic. anyway, a buddy of mine has an echo 1 m16, and after handling it myself i'm very impressed. it was going at close to 320 using 0.20g excel bio's.

it's a very nice lpeg all around.

Ive held one before. The plastic around the barrel felt a little flimsy. Not the barrel its self, just the housing. Other then that, what i got a gander at seemed solid. I did also hear the thing about CA parts being in it.

I have also heard they have ICS wiring in them, so thats another brownie point for ECHO 1, although I cannot 100% confirm this rumor...I ordered my ECHO 1 G36C the other day, it has a 15 day preorder wait though....I cant wait to get it! :) Oh, and if you are looking for good cheap magazines for this gun, go to shortyUSA and they have 5 140 round midcap magazines for only $50.00, and they also have a low-grade brand of mags that im not sure about, but they are 2 30 round magazines for 10.00, they have some pretty good deals! :)

i just got the echo 1 m16 from airsoft gi and its amazing, my friend is getting the m4 and its apparently ust as good as the m16, also airsoftgi has the echo1s for the cheapest i could find them

I have the Echo 1 G36c. So far its been a decent replica. It's actually shooting on par with my brothers CA version, and my CA36K. However, I haven't had it long enough to say if its gonna be worth it in the long run. But for $120 shipped...

I was recently just doing the usual serfing of the internet for new airsoft products and on www.shortyusa.com the Echo 1 company has just come out with an AK47 replica. Just wanted to let everyone know!

Uh, there was a press release lately of Echo 1 angrily stating their guns are not JG rebrands, but are much higher quality in some ways.

So essentially, according to Echo 1, the idea that Echo 1 = JG is, in fact, bollocks.
