Do spring guns require silcone lube for any reason?

Where exactly should I spray the lube? In the barrel? In the slide where it meets the lower frame since the slide moves there when u cock and shoot?

not knowing what gun you use, I'll suggest you cock it open and engage the slide lock, and spritz some into the area around the nozzle, though maybe not in it. try to spray a drop or two onto any spring or latch you see.

I currently have the KWC Ultra Grade Desert Eagle. When I engage the slidelock I can't see anything through the open ejection port. The barrel is clearly in the way to see the inside

but if you get it int he barrel, try to swab it out, it might hinder performance until its driedint he barrel
