Well, I'm not sure if I got the name right for the pistol, but what I'm lookin for is a WWII style 1911 in GBBs. My friend wants to find one but he can't find it anywhere. I can't even find one....but if you know where one is, tell me.

Is this what you are looking for? For some reason, I have always liked the look of this gun. It is probably because of all or the WWII movies I watched growing up. Anyway, I think the Western Arms (WA) 1911A1 Military Model is the pistol you (or your friend) are looking for.

I'm not really up on my 1911 history but I think this is the basic model that was used for many years. Newer models are called series 70 or series 80, not 100%. Anyone who knows for sure feel free to correct me.

nextmayor, there were quite a few 1911 variants. There was a Colt M1911 (short lasted, had a larger handgrip, and a NASTY trigger pull[own one]) There was the more common, and wonderful hand cannon of the M1911A1 (fixed the trigger pull, and handgrip problems for people with smaller hands [own one]) A colt ACE that was a re-chamber that could fire and cycle .22 or .45 (own one) not to mention a 1991 that was basically a matte black M1911A1 with a lighter trigger pull meant for police work.Colt Series 70 and Series 80 (im looking to purchase one) also were in the lineup. (Anyone who has a Gbb replica of a WA Colt series 80 contact me, if you are willing to sell) There are various other manufacturers that have copied this pistols design Such as Para Ordinance, AMT (I have a hardballer from them, nicest knock off of a M1911A1 i have EVER used, hexagonal rifling in the barrell as well...ooh ;) ) Kimber, and the Marine Armorers that do the CQB model( REALLY pricey and hard to obtain for a civilian.) Colt also had many a prototype/special edition M1911A1 model, that today are worth alot of money, and are more or less priceless...(to those dedicated Colt fans like myself)
