I just recieved my KSC Glock 18c and I loaded it up with gas and bb's. When I tried to shoot, it fired 2-3 shots and then a hissing noise came from the chamber and it would not fire, because all the gas had leaked out. The trigger would also lock back. I have no idea what is going on, this is my first airsoft gun and I dont know what to do.

-and yes, I did do a search and didnt find anything relavent

Maybe... but when I load the gun, no sound is coming from it, just when I fire the 3rd or 4th shot, it lets all the gas out of the barrel and out through the chamber.

Look at the valve at the back of the magazine(not the bottom) the place some silicone oil on that valve and push the valve up and down(without gas in the mag). Because it sounds like you have a sticky valve.

I will give that a shot, could they be sticky because they have never been used? That and it happens with both mags...

With the gun unloaded, just sit down, lube the rails that the slide... uhm, slides on, watch some TV and rack that baby back and forth for a good 10 minutes. Just keep pulling the slide back and letting it get pushed forward. The gun probably just needs to be broke in and I've found that doing this solves a lot of problem with the G18 pistols. I had this exact same problem with a second hand weapon and doing this helped the gun out of its worst problem.

This thing isn't upgraded with a metal slide/barrel but no reinforced recoil guide, is it?

i have the same problem with my glock 18. my freind dropped it and now whenever i load the gun and cock it it just leaks out all of the gas. its not the mag for sure because i used other working mags and the same thing happened. plus in the time the gas is leaking out it only fires full auto no matter what the switch is on.

That doesnt sound like my problem Darkjew, I talked to my retailer, CombatDepot.com and he said that I may not be loading the mags correctly, and the gun is just running out of gas right away.

heh, okay, I figured it out, LOL my fault. I had never handled a gas gun before and did not know that you had to load the mag with the can of gas being OVER the mag, it was under. I figured it out. Sorry to bother you, lol.

Next time, heed the advice given to you and read the newbie FAQ to save yourself some time and worrying. Its in there about filling the mag with gas.

This goes to all newbies. So many times they will say, "well I read the FAQ and it didn't help", when in reality, they said to hell with it.
