As always, your attendance helps us build more structures and make new and exciting features to add to the field. Please show your support of Airsoft Ohio and the airsoft community by attending and having fun!

I'm glad to hear of a scenario-based game out at Red Dragon. Op: Open Season was good- a nice change from the classic Risk style. Hopefully this will be as fun or more so!

Looks like we'll have a new base to attack/defend thanks to work done by several volunteers who helped out this past weekend. Gary and I were able to use a Bobcat to clear out a nice patch of woods, as well as clear several new trails on the far side of the field. We were also able to grade the creek area a bit better to help vehicles cross to the other side of the field. I'll try to get some photos of the base before this weekend's game. This is just version 1 of the base, but when both bases are done (most likely by next year), they will both be two formidable structures!

Thanks go out to the people who volunteered this weekend as well as all of those who come out to the Red Dragon games to make this all possible!!

See you at the game this Sunday!

Looks like there may be some rain over the weekend so please prepare for the possibility of muddly and wet conditions. If players want to bring and set up their own canopy you are more than welcome to do so. Cincinnati weather is always unpredictable and strange so who knows, maybe we'll have sun all day?

On Saturday I will also be out at Red Dragon, most likely around noon, to do some additional work to the new base in the far woods. If anyone would like to come out to help in the cleanup process, please feel free to come out.

Currently I only have 3 rental AEG's left for the event. If you are interested in a rental AEG, please contact me immediately. I'll be closing registration Saturday afternoon and after that the remaining rentals will be first-come, first-serve at the field. AEG Rentals are $35 dollars and include battery, charger, one hi-cap magazine and free field BB's all day.

Count me in, I hope my m24 is <500, I went up to AA to chorono it but, someone left the crono somewhere and so I dont know if my gun is legal. It was steady 520 last AA game, so I used a rental, but have had it compressed for like 3 days so it shoud be less, I used it at another non AA game and no one complained. If I cant play im goin home, I might use my brothers pistol but that will get old quick, and I dont have the money to pay for a rental.

Rules are rules and I've always observed the AO limits. If I let one gun slide, I have to let them all slide, and that's not going to happen. To properly comply with AO safety rules, the gun average FPS needs to chrono at 500FPS or below. The 2% variance allows a maximum muzzle velocity of 510FPS. If the gun shoots over 510FPS, it must be disqualified from play.

Other news from the field today, we finished laying down a good layer of wood chips at the new base and there were a few brief periods of rain. Weather radar indicates some showers in the area this evening, so we'll see how things are in the morning. Sunday looks to be a good day though, so I'll see you all there.
