How does HFC's beretta compare to the UHC one, and how does it compare to HFC's USP(the newer ones, with hopup)? I was thinking about getting one, since they make an all silver version of it, and UHC doesn't, and I know that their guns are more durable.

I own a non hopup version of the HFC baretta elite. I can't compare it to the UHC or the HFC USp, but I can say it was good. I'm sure if it had hopup I would have been more satisfied with it. It was very accurate and durable. It's been dropped so many times, and there's not really any cosmetic damage to it (besides a little orange worn off the barrel). The only physical damage to it is a crack it the outer plastic barrel. This came from trying to field strip it (I put a paintball in it). I did it like the guy at the store told me, but he's an idiot (he told me the gn had hopup too). Anyway, when you hold it in your hand, it your hand, it feels nice. The only thing is the slide and barrel seem kinda cheap and wobbly, and all the weight of the gun is in the clip and the handle. It does have a lot of metal and it's got power too (i'd guess 220-240 fps, but I have no clue). I bet if it had hopup it would be great, but I can't say it performs as good as or better than the uhc. If you do get one, I wouldn't recomend field stripping it unless you HAVE to. An if it comes with paintballs, throw them out. Overall the HFC baretta ELITE is a good gun, mine has a lack of hopup. Any questions?

PS-I hear a lot about UHCs breaking the first time it was dropped(yours?), not this one!
PS2-This is for the ELITE , I don't know how much diferent it it from the regular one.

I have the UHC Beretta, which is also a very good gun. It is very accurate, but it's still kinda hard to shoot cans and stuff with it. However if you are aiming at a person, you are going to hit them. It is very reliable, never jammed or anything. The only problem is the magazine, which is sorta hard to load, and sometimes when you try to take one BB out, all of them burst out everywhere... Its a good gun though. I would just get a TM mag for it.

What koko says is true, but I thought the mag was really good. Is it different than mine? 13round w/speedload? It's easy as hell to load when you get used to it.

Speed load is the thing on the mag that you can pull down the spring so you can pour bbs in making loading very speedy. Is it called something else?

No, I don't think it has a specific name. Speedload seems to be a feature on only HFC guns.

As far as the comparison, I don't know. I own the HFC P8/USP, and am very happy with it. Granted, it doesn't shoot as far as the UHC Beretta, but I still am happy with its consistency and performance...

On a side note, I found that my gun does indeed have hopup, even though it doesn't appear to. That may sound funny, but I took it completely apart yesterday, and found a hopup unit. The problem is that it doesn't stick down far enough into the bb's path to put spin on the bbs. This is correctable, and I plan to show owners of the gun how to correct that, as soon as I can get some digital pics, and time to put them on the web...

So your HFC beretta may actually have hopup...
