this was weird, I got a job this summer to save for airsoft and a car, and lots of times when I'm bagging at Meijer, and I'm not looking around for hot girls or something, I tend to think about airsoft. Well, today I was bagging a small order for some dude, and I bagged several cans of some kind of refrigerant, at least thats what they said. I picked them up to put them in the bag, and right above the "refrigerant" on the can, was a huge number "134a". Now, I know this can't be worthy gas for airsoft use or someone would've noticed already...but I'm kinda curious as how something to be used as refrigerant and gas for airsoft guns can both be labeled "134a".
anybody?

Chemically, they both are the same gas. All airsoft gasses are used as refrigerants normally. The difference between what you picked up and what you buy online is the stuff online has silicone mixed in already. Buying the stuff you picked up is MUCH cheaper and will save you cash. Just get a can of silicone lube and squirt a drop or two into your mags before and after each fill-if you can put up with it. I myself am lazy, and should I own another gas gun that uses 134a, Ill just buy the stuff online to save me time reloading.

my day job is working for a truck-parts company called "Fleetpride" we sell for about 80 bucks, a huge (about the size of a propane tank, maybe smaller) tank of 134a, and I was wondering if anyone out there knows how one could safely get the gas out and either into the original cans of gas, or into the mag.
