are there any airsoft gas guns that shoot with gas cartridges instead of filling it with gas? if not, why? i would love a company if they could make one, seeing as id much rather simply load a cartridge than waste gas screwing up on loading my mag with my m11. plus id rather carry around small cartridges than a big can o' gas if the gun isnt too efficient. i imagine using propellant being 10 times better. or maybe im just stupid?...

Actually, using the "magazine" system is superior.....

Why?

A separate gas cartridge will still depelete -- and will still require either replacing or re-filling.

With the modern GBB systems, replacing the spent mag will reload both BBs and gas propellant at the SAME TIME, whereas your proposed system above will split reloading BBs and reloadig of gas, which is a shortcoming that is often cited of many current-market NBBs.

In essence, for skirmishes, you simply must have more magazines, and the shortcomings that you are currently complaining of for the magazine-stored gas reservoir is one that you have artificially contrived due to your lack of magazine load-out.
