Ok then, here's the problem I have today...

I want to get a bolt action, { Again } and I am dead set on an APS2 SV, the only problem is Gas Bolt or Spring Bolt,

I need the Pro's and Con's of both these guns, and BTW, I do play in the winter alot, so cold temps are not rare for me...

Right now, im leaning towards the Gas Bolt for summer use only, becuase in the winter its really hard to hide, and ussaully we play outdoor CQB at peoples houses, not in the woods,

So I guess thats a good reason to buy a gas bolt, becuase of the lighter spring pull and the times I'd use it,

But can you still tell me.......PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!! :p

WELL, I would first like to start out by saying 2 things FIRST OFF....I am very new to airsoft, and I just will apply my experience and knowledge of other types of guns to help you out with this.. SECONDLY I dont think "anyone can tell you anything"-ur last line-...because this is more about oppinion and trade off more then anything else......

That being said....THERE are so many different things that you can apply to pro's and cons its literally impossible to list.......SO not knowing the gun you are speakin of...general impression are that spring is much more dependable (in most cases), somewhat cheaper, doesnt really experience to much change due to weather(does a little)...and its also allowed at almost all game fields (from what i understand)
the gas however would be looked upon probably as amore advanced system capable of things the bolt isnt, namely Rate Of Fire..... however the fact is without having do recock the gun everytime this also increases your ability to keep a steady aim...meaning ur aim doesnt come off of ur target do to recock manually by ur arm......

WELL LIKE I SAID..I am a newbie and those are just general principles, however I am sure someone with much more experience will ellaborate and may even obliterate my ideas.... but there are a few to get you started.

Thanks alot, that helps me out, so spring is more for an all around weather sniper, and gas for more warmer days,

Got it,

So now I just need to think if we really need a sniper now...

Get the gun then get the g&g gas bolt at first,so u dont have to pay $600 on internals just so your gun wont fall apart.GAS=summer SPRING= al year a round

Fox, does this set a record for oldest/ most horrific necropost? Or is there one more than over 6 years?

I believe it does.

And most pointless, since this thread was answered.
