I have a question regarding uniforms. Would a khaki safari uniform be adequite for the terrorist?

Yes...

HAHA Splendid. I'll have to locate my trousers then. I wasnt sure if you would have catagorized that under "civilian" attire. Thank you.
Change in the weather again. My weather bug says mostly clear with highs in the mid 80's and lows in the mid 60's.

By civilian, we meant jeans and T-shirts with logos, stuff like that. And the hostages will be wearing labratory style clothing. That's about as civilian as we are going to get.

Gonna have to watch yourself out there Col. Those feeling adventerous might wanna mount your head in their study. Also stay away from Prof. Plum in the Library with the Lead pipe. It will be a excellent change of pace with a safari uniform out there. The jungles of franbar need a bit of trimming maybe a machete would help too. I am sure these jokes are old to you i just had to say them... ever since i saw your name.

Looking forward to meeting you all at our first of hopefully many events. This is not confirmed yet.. but we might be selling hotdogs and water. Now before you think im taking advantage of the event I am not. I just realise that very few people prolly will give or even think about it. Since this is for charity then the proceeds from the hotdogs will go to the red cross. Not sure about the water yet... I need to check out places to get it cheap and numerous. I am thinking about two dogs for a dollar. I won't have any change on me and a dollar each is a bit much. So for two dollars maybe two dogs and a water. This is all speculation and I need to get an idea of how many people would be interested. I want to make a decent chunk of change for the red cross and if only like 2 people buy dogs... well you get the idea. Post away with your input.

Good idea, I'd eat there instead of leaving to find food.

Shogun
08-10-2006, 09:04 AM
I'd much rather eat there as well, and it's even better that the money goes to charity. :D

Col.Mustard

Marvelous idea. 2 dogs and a water for 2 dollars is a splendid deal.
And i have a rather large machete if you really think i need to bring it. I WAS going to wear a desert6 collar tunic and woodland pants, but that would look aweful. I like to look nice while killing things and i only have a full set of woodland camoflauge and my safari gear. Sorry if you think its a bit much but its all i have.

Ok its settled. I will try and grab as many dogs and water as I can find for a deal. First come first serve of course. I think 100 dogs should do it. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Ok final ruling.... after much talk the water will be 1 USD each and the dogs will be 1 USD each. Much computation has gone on and since this is for charity im sure you all can splurge. Also remeber to ask your parents if you still live with them for money to donate. Knowing moms and dads they will be happy to. Whether or not the money show up at our event is up to you but I trust your descision. We will have plenty of dogs and water to go around. The plans are coming together and the event is going to be amazing. Can't wait to see you all there.

Steal profs. Plums Lead pipe and hit your self in the head. It should knock you out for a few.

23 hours and counting. I will see you all there. Here is to a good event. Good hunting all, and may the better team win.

Current count on teams just by looking at AE (omiting two that have registered more than once) is US: 56 Terrorist: 33... a difference of 23... two to three squads worth. 23 men is less than a 2:1 odds but you have to figure in what you call a force multiplier (hopefully someone knows what that means.) and that all depends on who brings what gun. That can be dealt with that at the event. Ten person difference maybe fine but 20 or more... I dont know that may be a little more than the terrorists can chew. There is also a few BDU mixups and inconsistancies that make it variable but still with a large difference.

This may work:

US (46)
Woodland: 33
Woodland MARPAT: 3
Woodland Digital: 10

Terrorists (43)
Desert 3 Color: 5
Desert 6 Color: 3
Desert Digital: 1
Flektarn: 8
Vietnam Tigerstripe: 2
ACU: 1
Multicam: 1
OD: 1
Black: 9
No BDU: 12

I have no clue what the people who have no BDU plan on wearing and thats another variable. If that doesnt work a few less medics is fine. All I need is two or three if the unit breakdown is consistant with those who show up. Hopefully in the end all works well for both sides equally.

I hate resorting to armbands so lets throw that idea out the window. I will still bring them for after senario games and for extreme and dire situations.

A couple of us 'no BDU' people are wearing Russian Gear.

Back in my day a force multiplier was whom ever carried the larger weapon and had the largest balls haha. I think the terrorists shall be alright, and if not, it will be one heck of a fight.

Spades
08-11-2006, 01:38 PM
form what i have seen and read, it sounds like the terrorists are going to put up one heck of a fight!! so don't underestimate their lack of numbers, US team!!!!

WOOT, Can't wait until tomorrow!......just hope it wont be muggy like today...lol

King

AE is not correct at all. There are people who registered on the US side then sent me PMs requesting to be switched to the Terrorists. Also, we took in account the numbers and gave the Terrorists slight and I do mean slight advantages. If it gets really messy, then we will split everyone up at the field, which shouldn't take that long. Kurt, I do like your idea and it makes the teams more even by a lot. It's going to be a great game!

Anyone needing a ride from Cinci?. I will be leaving from the Eastgate area in Cincinnati at 6:00am. Anyone who can meet at the mall there can get a ride to the event. If you could pitch in $5 bucks for gas. I have room for 5 riders. PM me if you are interested. I'll even through in the "inflight movie".

Zootroy
08-11-2006, 06:53 PM
Well my gun will not be arriving in time and all i have is a pistol is there any use for me going??? medic or something??

Shogun
08-11-2006, 06:57 PM
I'm assuming it's a GBB or EBB? If it's a springer, I wouldn't show up, but that's just me. With a nice GBB or EBB and some great tactical knowledge on your part, you should be fine.

Zootroy
08-11-2006, 07:03 PM
Its gas powered, but i guess i shouldnt waste my money to go to the event cause im so damn poor and it probably wouldbt be fun since i d get pwned with just a pistol

Shogun
08-11-2006, 07:14 PM
Well, I've seen people using GBBs as primaries before, and if you have the heart (and the balls) to get the job done, that's all that is needed.

I know it is really late, but does someone have an extra speed loader
...I lost mine at the last event I went too...http://www.airsoft128.com/xcart/files/provider/t_33244_01.jpg
And will there be an Airsoft Realtor ???

King
08-11-2006, 11:21 PM
Well everyone, I hope you get a good nights rest, because tomorrow is going to be a blast!

Zootroy, we'd love to have you come out, but of course, that's your decision. If you want to be a medic, that'd be great. I've seen many medics only use a pistol or even a spring shotgun. So it's up to you.

Cullen, you can borrow my speed loader. I just want to get it back. :D

The 91st can't wait so good night and see you on the battlefield!

I didnt register and pay online so i cant go??? im confused?

King
08-12-2006, 01:12 AM
You pay at the school bus at the entrance of the field. And since you told me that you would like to go, you don't have to register at airsoftevents. Also, there won't be an airsoft retailer there. I tried to get Airsoft Arms to come out and Loki was going to, but his bosses aren't letting him close the store to come to our event. But anyway.

I apologize in advance for the absence of my brother and myself. There has been a sudden death in the family. I was really looking forward to this, but hey, at least now you've got two less players on the US side. :(

Today was my first "big game" in airsoft, until now its been all backyard games. I have fun but the brake down during the second half really bummed me out. Good job to everyone and look forward to the next one at Fran Park.

anyone who runs,..is a VC! Anyone who stands still,..is a well disaplined VC!
