This messege is to notify all those interested that taskforce216 is holding open skirmishes every 2 weeks at eastlake.

The easiest way to see if there is an open skirmish and who is attending is to go to:

1.taskforce216.com
2.sign up on the forums
3. view the calendar located top right of the interface
4.edit the calendar to include your name under the correct date
5.show up.

these games, however small do focus on milsim style play. last open we had a bull dozer out there as a tank. future opens may include boats. we commonly use props such as radar dishes/fake c4 etc at our weekly games.

questions regarding directions can be forwarded to alphasix or ghettobrick on the taskforce216.com forums.

we only ask that people show up with a good/safe/friendly attitude and that you don't cheat.

JULY 8TH 06 MISSION

THE MISSION

2006, in response to increased Israelis aggression against world arab states, Egypt renews a covert war on the Israeli people. Backed by the socialists, Egypt is able to conduct successful "snatch and grab missions" in Israel. Recent of which being Mr. Krause, the American ambassador to israel... This is the final straw for Israeli and american officials. They want all high profile friends of the state removed from Egypt before a full scale invasion takes place.

Your mission: FINAL STRAW:

This will be a joint Israeli/American operation. Until the ground froces are mobilized operations inside Egypt must remain as covert as possible. You will be transported by gunship to the Egyptian shore. From there you will secure weapons, transportation and explosives locally. Your objectives are to infiltrate the river Nile and dd to Cairo where you will complete your objectives.

Objectives:
Procure weapons
Secure American ambassador to Israel
Secure American ambassador to Egypt
Recon defenses for invasion force
Destroy chemical weapons facility
Destroy the radar sites and sam missle site before evac
*We cannot land the gunship less this is complete*
If unable to destroy radar sites you must travel the nile back to the drop point.(port Said)

If you are seen you will have an entire army looking for you. If you are captured Israel and the United states will deny all knowledge of your mission.

*YOU ARE OFFICIALLY A TERRORIST THREAT TO EGYPT*

It's been a while since we hosted an open game so i thought i would let everyone know these are still going on. The next is this weekend the 7th. As always i edit the first post to include the next open date.

As the "operation season" draws closer to an end we will have more and more of these open skirms.

i would also like to thank all those that came out for observing safe fair play. As well for enjoying some diff open skirming. We expected more difficulty from players adjusting to using bulldozers/boats/ crazy rules. HATS OFF.

The Government Forces & The Rebel Forces

This a tears of muhammed series skirm.


In our last installment we saw the detonation of a radioactive "dirty bomb" on Government occupied lands.

This detonation casts a dark shadow on the people of this small country. Government forces have begun to crack down, sending ever more troops, manning ever more checkpoints, conducting evermore intrusive random searches and seizures.

Will the Government forces be able to quell the unrest of this small country, or will the rebel forces be able to gain enough support to mount a resistance that will force the Government out of this small war torn country for good.

Tears of Mohammed: Chapter Three: The Silence

Violence which only a few short weeks ago ravaged the small Rebel nation has subsided. An almost eerie silence is found in the small villages and towns. With the execution of Kareem Mohammed being held up as an example The Government forces have made their resolve clear, They will not tolerate insurrection. They will rule with an iron grip in total absolution.

Road Blocks, Check points, Random Searches, Government Troop Movements, Low flying Aircraft have all taken their toll. The people of this once proud nation now stand beaten down and miserable.

The explosion the other evening was a Government Aircraft crashing in the desert. We presume there are no survivors, but know Government Troops will soon be coming………………………………………………………….


Join Us as tensions escalate and a unstable nation quakes under the pressure.
