I have been looking for a gas pistol recently when i came across co2 pistols. Ive looked and looked and then i found this tippmann
so could someone give me information on this gun?
http://www.tippmann.com/product_guide/markerDetails.aspx?productId=26
----details----
T-400
350 fps (i think .2 gram)
metal parts (not sure what)
flatline hopup (?)
$55 at a few places
150 shots per co2 cartridge
17 shots a mag
there is also a K-400 model but as far as i can tell, the specs are way worse, if you know any benefits, tell me
If there are any other guns in this range that are co2 (or even green gas) tell me.
-i want the most accurate, heaviest, highest fps gun i can get for the money.
(if the tippmann is accurate, it might fit that description)
-Thank you for helping

Tippmann's line of airsoft guns is so new to the market that not many people know how well they shoot or perform yet. For now, I would suggest maybe looking into a gun that runs off of green gas or 134a gas since they are the most common and easy to find parts for.
This gun:

Is the closest I could find to the style of pistol you are looking for, and it is a very decent gun for the price. Although it is almost twice the price of the Tippmann you were looking at, you will not be disappointed :).
Also I would recommend this:

It is another decent gas blowback pistol.
Good luck finding a pistol you like :).

Word of advice, never order any airsoft guns or gear from www.airsplat.com. They are known for their poor customer service and lying about products that they sell.
I suggest these sites:
http://www.airsoftarms.com
http://www.airsoftsmith.com
http://www.combatdepot.com
http://www.airsoftgi.com
They are all reliable sites with reputations for good customer service, and they get your order to you on time without delay :).

You do not need to lug a can of green gas around when you play. Each magazine should be able to be used 2-3 times before it runs out of gas. So it would be wise to buy at least 2-3 magazines, that way you have plenty of ammo, and I also suggest a speed loader so that you can reload your magazines on the fly :D.

I have a tippman pistol and I can vouche that it definitely is a hard hitter. Also it was chronoed at 350 with a .12 gram. But it is a very accurate gun if you use .20 grams and still shoots in the 300 fps range. If you want a cheap gas pistol that is very reliable then I would say go with this. Plus the only thing that ever goes bad on the pistol is the o rings and they are very simple to replace.
