Maruzen p99 blowback help

it can still fire but it has no blowback. you can fire it upside down and it will cycle properly. Am i missing a piece or something?

Sounds like the usual problem with these.

Try pushing the base of the magazine up and see if it will cycle then.

Basically, the mag catches wear out and allow the magazine to sit a fraction too low, causing the gas to escape rather than blow back the slide.

You can try building the catch up a little with chemical metal (a two tube paste metal filler) or similar - I had some success doing this.

yes i believe he is refering to JB-WELD you can pick it up at a Napa or Carquest or any autoshop works wonders.

sorry I forgot to tell you guys I already found that out in another thread.
I checked it out it did not help the mag sits in there as far as it will go. I have even had it on a table and pressed down on it as I was firing it did nothing (the mag in contact with the table and pressed down on the grip). Thanks for your help.

so does anyone know how to fix it? any help will be appreciated
